1. Select "Pay via Exchange"

To pay via an exchange or externally with a wallet, when asked to select a wallet, select Pay via Exchange, Pay via a Custodial, or Pay via QR Code or Wallet Address.

2. Set up the payment

To set up the payment, scan or copy the wallet address and add the payment details as shown to you. This step depends on what exchange or wallet you're using:

I am using none of the above exchanges/wallets

No problem! You can pay with any exchange or wallet. If you're unsure how, check out the help articles provided by your exchange/wallet or contact us.

Important: when sending the payment, make sure that:

  • Token: you're sending the funds in the right token

  • Amount: you use the right amount. Ensure the amount sent covers all fees, so the recipient receives the full amount displayed.

  • Network: you send on the right network

  • Wallet address: you send it to the right address

Once you sent the payment, tick I have sent the funds for the bill and click Confirm I Paid to go to the next step.

3. Provide the transaction hash

What is a transaction hash?

The transaction hash/ID (sometimes called "tx hash" or "txn hash") is a unique identifier that proves that a transaction was validated and added to the blockchain. It's similar to a receipt you get in your bank account for each payment. When paying a Request bill externally, the transaction hash is needed to prove that the payment was made.

How to find the transaction hash

Once you send the payment, provide the transaction hash so we can update the bill to Paid and notify the bill creator. This step depends on what exchange or wallet you're using:

I am using none of the above exchanges/wallets

You can usually find the transaction hash in the activity or history section of the exchange/wallet you're using. If you're unsure how, check out the help articles provided by your exchange/wallet or contact us.

Insert the transaction hash and click on Submit Payment to submit it.

4. Wait for the payment to be verified

Once submitted, we'll verify the transaction hash and update the bill to Paid automatically if it is valid.

That's it!
