How Exchange Connections Work
Request Accounting supports importing transactions from over 20 different centralized exchanges. Here's how it works:
Direct API Connection: You connect your exchange account using a read-only API key and secret key
Secure Third-Party Provider: All connections are handled through Vezgo, our third-party data provider
Automatic Daily Sync: Vezgo fetches both your balances and transactions once every 24 hours
Why doesn't the Update Time Reflect When I Click "Refresh Balances"?
When you click the "Refresh Balances" button, the exchange balance update time doesn't change to the current time. This is because the timestamp shows when Vezgo last fetched data from your exchange, not when you clicked the button.
Since data is pulled once per day, the "Last Updated" time reflects that daily sync, which may have occurred hours earlier.
