Why can't I make a Crypto-to-Fiat payment to myself?

Due to regulatory and banking partner constraints, some routes and currencies can't be used for first-party payments (moving funds on behalf of the same legal entity).

The currencies and routes for which first-party payments are supported are:

  • USD (ACH/Fedwire)

  • EUR (SEPA)

  • GBP (Faster Payments)

  • SWIFT (USD)*

  • SWIFT (AED)*

You can check to which currencies and routes your account has access in Settings > Verification & Access.

*Request Finance primariy partner for SWIFT does not support first-party payments. These SWIFT currencies are available via an alternative partner that requires manual setup. Please contact [email protected] to request access.

What if I am blocked from making a payment to myself / my company?

In some cases, you may see a message that a payment using above currency & route does not support first-party payments. If this happens, please contact [email protected] to request access.

For other currencies and routes, we’re continuously working to expand support for first-party payments. Contact us if you need a specific currency or route.
