The approval is required the first time you click to pay on the Request app for a token you have never used or when you used up the approved token amount from a past approval. You can learn more about why the tokan approval is required here.
Three options are possible for the approval action:
Approved Amount | Impact |
Unlimited (recommended): you approve one time the use of the token without any limit. | You can proceed to the payment step. You won't need to approve tokens for any future payments with that token. Learn more about the benefits of using unlimited token approval here. |
Custom amount: you approve the use of the token for a specific amount. | You can proceed to the payment step if the approved amount covers the amount necessary for the payment. |
Zero: you don't approve the use of the token. | You cannot proceed to the payment step. Learn more about why the token approval is required here. |
