How are transactions screened for fraud and compliance?

The Global USD Account is powered by Bridge (https://bridge.xyz/), a Stripe company and regulated US financial services provider, which screens transactions to protect you from transacting with blacklisted addresses.

How does transaction screening work?

To protect you from transacting with fraudulent or blacklisted addresses, Bridge screens all incoming and outgoing transactions in real time using an industry-leading blockchain analytics solution. Wallet addresses are automatically checked before any transaction is processed. If a wallet is flagged as high-risk, the transaction is paused and reviewed by Bridge's compliance team, ensuring suspicious funds are blocked before they reach your account or leave it.

Why does this matter?

Sending to or receiving funds from a sanctioned or blacklisted wallet can expose you to legal and regulatory risk and may cause your account to be flagged by downstream financial institutions, even if you had no knowledge of the source. This screening happens automatically through Bridge, so you can transact with confidence without having to vet every wallet yourself.
